Scotiabank National Indigenous Veteran’s Day 2023

To commemorate National Indigenous Veteran’s Day at Scotiabank for the very first time, I created an ad expressing gratitude to Indigenous veterans for their sacrifice.

I read about the hardships and triumphs of indigenous veterans, and pulled visual inspiration not only from online sources, but from previous work done by Scotiabank with indigenous illustrators.

By combining a powerful silhouette with the strong lines and colours that indigenous artwork is known for, we were able to create a fitting tribute to our indigenous veterans.
