Love Scarborough was a bold awareness campaign created to spotlight the funding inequities faced by Scarborough’s hospitals. Using powerful storytelling and a citywide media push, the campaign challenged Torontonians to rally together in support of better healthcare for Scarborough’s diverse and growing community.

I spent hours going through video interviews and questionnaires to write cohesive stories for Scarborough residents who weren’t featured in the online videos. Hearing their experiences was deeply inspiring, and it was a genuine pleasure to help share their voices as part of this campaign. The stories left such an impression on me that I even bought two of the campaign hoodies to show my support for the cause.
